Wow, one end of the spectrum to the other. On the other side they have the great AC30 amp. Once all you needed along with a real electric guitar...

At least it's not as ugly as the Gibson Firebird X... Still ugly, just not AS ugly.

that's a shocking looking axe KB, you could have posted it in the ugly thread. Some of the sounds are pretty cool but the wing shapes of the outer body are very uncool.
Stick to amps Vox which you are very good at !

Whilst more on the ugly side of things I thought the concept was not too bad. Wonder if you could transplant the electronics into something that looked better? Would be a good traveller/practice axe that you could use with earphones or headphones. Battery life could be an issue though.

Hey Waz, I'm sure there are plenty of midi interfaces available to fit in an axe, might be a cool project I might look into

Already have a Vox VT40+ with most of those simulated effects built in and for the price the sound quality is pretty damn good. This new axe brings some of that on board therefore eliminating need to cart along an amp and reckon it would prove very handy in a recording studio situation. In a studio nobody cares what a guitar looks like, just needs to sound good.

It's got that very toy like tone on some sounds

I have had a VT30 since 2008 and it has alot of that stuff on board, its an ok Amp as well.

Not sure i like my effects on the guitar though.

I've toyed with ideas of onboard ODs but this just makes me lose interest.
