Whose brain did you dissect?

I think it was his own - I've heard that Adam just asked for a custom Warlock in the new Dingotone equivalent to conch girl, with Hipshot bridge, 9 strings and scalloped frets, using some scrap he picked up from Bunnings.

Its only a 6mm cap, will be using Tassie Blackwood for the body.
There will be some funky things happening with this build :)

Are you resurrecting the stealth controls idea, again? it would definitely be a shame to have chrome or plastic sitting on top of that slab of wood.

A few sneak peaks at whats been happening.

Going for a Steam Punk vibe, so made appropriate Truss Rod cover...(Gavmiester will hate it :)

@ Fuzz. Four colours all up, flick the switch one way and you get a mix of green and orange the other way blue and purple..
@Pabs. Fibre optics... Wont be in a rush to do it again though :p

Those marker sure get your attention! I saw slipknot last year and there was so much going on on stage and I kept getting distracted by the bass players lit up fret dots!!! nevermind all the flames, people jumping around and mechanical drum stands and stuff... haha

cool effect DB but as you said would have been a huge hassle to install the wires under the fingerboard and the light controller
Amazing build DB, a fibre optic tutorial would be nice...

Clever stuff DB. Now that wiring must of been nearly as much of a challenge as the ES style Guitars lol

That's looking really cool! Im glad it was fibre optics you used, and not Christmas lights on sale from Bunnings!
That truss rod cover is very different - awesome design!

Funny guy, Swanny.... As if I would buy stuff from the BGSFOS!! :)
I would have to banish myself to the Naughty Warehouse for a lifetime sentence :p
If I was to go fibre optics again I would use a smaller diameter optic fibre.
Had to rout channels 3mm deep into the Finger Board to get the buggers to sit correctly.
Lucky I have a tendency to use rather thick chunks of tree for my FB's...

myself and DB got a selfy outside the BGSFOS last year but DB didn't purchase anything. I know he did buy an infra red heater from there, how dark were your sunnies that day DB ? haha
