Haha. Way out of context. This is part of a mockumentary called 'Dark Side of the Moon. The truth about the moon landing'. Fantastically made, based in truth and played totally straight. I watched it and freaked out until the closing credits when it's revealed to be a hoax.

Everyone knows that the moon is made if cheese! No lunar lander could ever land on Camembert

Doesn't it seem strange no ones ever done it again though. Not the Russians, The Chinese and certainly not the US lol

As in land on the moon? US can't due to funding, 1/6 of their budget is blown on the ISS, but I literally just finished reading an article about how within the next 10 years, the US are going to withdraw from the ISS and start putting men around the Moon, where they are not protected by the radiation from the Sun like they are on the ISS and it will give a much better representation on how humans can (or cannot) survive for so long, so far away from Earth.

You would have thought as the first Moon landing was in 1969, why hasn't anybody at least attempted it since then? Especially with the equipment they had then and now. The budget to have sent a ship to take pics of Mars, surely far outweighs the cost of a ship to land on the moon. My personal belief is the moon landing was a hoax. But everyone believes something different that's cool too.

Ok if the hoax video flipped you, you're gonna love this video lol http://youtu.be/LcbCafpvIT0

I watched the landing in glorious black & white TV at the old Port Jackson Hotel in George St Sydney, now called Jackson's On George.

We had a standing shout of 8 schooners every lunch time ( 1 gallon of beer each in a strictly regimented 1 hour break ) so I think I can remember the event ;)

Reg Lindsey also had quite a hit with a song called Armstrong just after the event

Hi Dave, I was only 7 and in primary school watching it on a black & White TV so how old does this make you? Nothing wrong with that level of consumption during lunch break as they reckon there is at least a ham sandwich in each glass. Hard to know what to believe as in the past 40 odd years no more moon landings? Supposed to be Alien space wreckage up there too and possibly an old Alien base as highlighted in a documentary on foxtel recently.

Hey Pablo has any other moon landing videos ever been released?. What amazes me is your still running with the moon landings, and not talking or concerned about the video of the admission by the Canadian ex head of securities. About Aliens working with US government lol. Starts to get interesting approx 4 mins in what do you think ?

Cheers Waz,

By then it was down to 18 and the 6 o'clock swill was but a memory.

For those far to young to remember the pubs stopped serving drinks for 1 hour at 6pm, the theory that the men would go home to their families for dinner but the reality was that every drinker would line up enough to satisfy a fearsome thirst during the enforced drought.

The pubs also segregated women away from the front bar to the lounge bar where they could sip their shandies or sherry in polite company, there were strict dress rules for men who may wish to join the fairer sex for a beverage or two.

A lot of the pubs had live music in the lounge or beer garden back then, the money in the pubs wasn't as good as the licensed clubs but if you got a few nights a week it was good money.

Another golden anomaly in NSW back then was that to have a drink on a Sunday you had to be out of area in a rural pub, so driving 30+km to get plastered and then drive home all with with the family on board was somehow legal.

Hi Dave, sadly I am old enough to remember every bit of what you said here. I grew up in Canberra with 3 older sisters and remember the craziness of a couple them going for a drive to Collector with their boyfriends which was about halfway to Goulbourn and some 30 miles north of Canberra just to get around these licencing rules. Drink driving back then seemed to be a national sport, or at least in NSW, and they served full strength beer too! Low alcohol stuff didn't arrive until mid '80s to help curb drink driving, tasted crap and only after dropping to 0.05 did we start to see the 'Precision Drink Driving Team' membership begin to dwindle.

Yes, Kimball, I watched it a few years back. First of all, being in a position of power and wearing a suit doesn't make one immune from delusion. Take most of our current politicians as an example. Second, this was no sitting of Canadian parliament. This event was a University of Toronto forum called "The Citizen's Hearing on Disclosure" (sounds totally legit to me...).

I am as skeptical as they come, but I consider myself open minded enough to give it all a chance. I have yet to see compelling evidence of UFOs, aliens living among us, god or worldwide conspiracy plots. Feel free to try to persuade me. :)

Yeah Pablo, I'm the same. But thought they were worthy videos to create conversation, a giggle and talking points. I think everyone should have the right to their beliefs no matter what they are. That's what makes the world go around. People far more intelligent than you and I, have spent a lifetime debating the very things you've listed above. Are we truthfully any nearer to the answer to those questions? I think it shouldn't stop us all asking questions. My father used to be in politics Pabs. One thing we have to remember no matter who gets in; most countries still have the exact same civil servants doing exactly the same things they did before. We then wonder why each party promises so very much but then just continues doing exactly the same things the previous party have done lol. The Mysteries of life.
