Recently I recreated my late son's 1978 Telecaster lake placid blue in colour (metallic Nitro). My grandson has asked me to make him a Les Paul, so I bought an LP-1 kit. He has insisted that it be in lake placid blue. I don't much like nitro so the question is, is there a similar colour in DingoTone.

Hi Salo and welcome to the forum.
I google imaged lake placid blue and got a fair range of blue colours

be best if you emailed Dingobass a picture of the colour and he should be able to match it fairly closely altering the Bondi Blue Dingtone.
Another option if it is a lighter colour than Bondi Blue he can give you a bottle of white to mix in and water down the colour and make it lighter

Thanks Wokkaboy. Good idea. I'll do that.

Hi Wokkaboy. I took your advice and contacted DB. He offered me a suitable blue for beta testing free of charge. I promised I'd give him feedback on the colour and start a build diary.

sounds good Salo, start a build diary and post some pics there of the progress, look forward to seeing how the lighter blue looks on the LP-1
