Something different this balmy Sunday night. A real Pro kit for the discerning Builder/Player.

I've hand selected a STA-1R Ash body kit, with a gorgeous Ash grain, maple neck and Reverse headstock. I've added a Babicz bridge, Grover 406C tuners, Tonerider City Limts pickups, Pro Rock Gear strap Locks and All Parts electronics.

The retail value is well over $600, but I'm offering this one kit for cost price, on the condition that you do a Build Diary and give us your honest option on the bridge, tuners and pickups.

Choose between Chrome, Black or Gold hardware and any pickguard you like.

Check it out here:

Phwoar! That is mighty fine indeed. Pity the fretboard isn't maple too, then I'd consider it.

Very keen to see what one lucky builder can come up with for this build.

I wish, but there are bills to pay and Christmas presents to buy for the kids!

good on you Tony, sure you will build a beast of an axe. Have you planned stain colours and what colour hardware and pickguard ?

Nice one Tony. You beat me to it (I was still formulating a plan to placate the minister of war lol). Will be an awesome build & look forward to the build diary!

GAS is incurable (& unfortunately not covered by Medicare) - needed something to keep me going for a few months. Doctors orders!

...now a friendly doctor would PRESCRIBE a kit as necessary AND arrange 8 counselling sessions with your local luthier to continue the stress release program!

hhaha too right Ponch, only if GAS was covered by Medicare, but I think they already know there is no cure for it.
Gav's doctor has the right idea !
