Hi guys was sent this today in an email . Thought it would be great to share. Someone suggested filling the tubes with sand or something even more suitable to give you slightly more strength see pics enclosed .
Another thing I have so many problems resizing pics to a suitable size to use here so found a great App called yep Resize image .
Really good so simple to use does it in seconds .And the best part it's free.you just use the slider to get size needed. click save and save it to your photos.

That's pretty neat. Is that a Chris Monck build?

looks good.

Always thought something like this Ikea table leg would work as well:

Guitar porn hijack:

Chris Monk does make nice guitars, but my favourite from that group is Murray Kuun

I'm racking my brains trying to think how you'd even achieve that look with the swoosh down in the control area. F@#rrrrk that's cool!!

It's called Solarez. The Electric Guitars Builder's forum on FB is all over the stuff.
Essentially a UV cure poly resin for surfboards. Cures in minutes under sunlight or UV light, gives a glass like finish.

Perry Ormsby likes it so much he had a bunch shipped in to give it a try.

It almost looked like that walnuty piece on top was part of the body, very inspiring.

So was it just me?

When I saw the thread title i immediately got a picture in my head of a guy sitting with a guitar in his lap, paint brush in hand, painting a canvas.

(I have got to stop reading forums before I finish my first coffee)

It might even be a scrap chunk from the body's blank!
