I just found a nice website to design a pedalboard with! Head to http://pedalboardplanner.com/ and pick whatever size Pedaltrain board you want and select you pedal brand then model, hit "Add Pedal" and drag it to the right place!

I'm using it right now to design the board on my bass rig and my new guitar pedalboard. Quick and easy to create monster boards!

Cool, might give this a go since I have been thinking of making myself a pedal board lately, cheers.

I've got both websites bookmarked now.

@KB yeah I have heard of the Holey Board, but I somehow still prefer the Pedaltrain boards....

Here are a couple of boards I whipped up. The first one is my board for my bass rig, the other is my guitar board. Both fit the Pedaltrain Junior. Pics are quite crap as I had to bump them down to 8 bit to upload to the forum...

It's fun to play the 'If I had unlimited money' game...

Hot tip for bass pedals, Pest. Don't limit yourself to just "bass" pedals. 98% of pedals designed for guitar will work perfectly well with a bass and are usually cheaper than their "bass" counterpart. Bass pedals, on the other hand, don't always work well with guitar.

Pabs - any recommendations for a fuzz pedal for bass? Not looking for something too extreme or expensive - just want to add a bit of grit when needed.

I have a Wren & Cuff Tall Font Russian (Sovtek Big Muff clone) which I would highly recommend. A little on the expensive side, but a fantastic all around fuzz. Not fizzy and artificial sounding like a lot of others.

My go to bass grunt pedal.

Have been looking at the Bearded Lady by Dr Green and tried to make a Woolly Mammoth clone (clone failed - could tune ABC though) and haven't played with the Bearded Lady, but heard good reviews.

Not heard of the Bearded Lady so can't really comment on that one, but (warning; unpopular opinion ahead) I really don't like the Wooly Mammoth, adds too many synth-like overtones.

Pabs, I know that most guitar pedals work with bass, I was just using the bass pedals to get an idea on it as I based off a friend's rig.

Now it shall be MY turn to play the unlimited money game :D
