So I'm curious on the process of shaping a nut. Because you could sand the bottom and also cut the slot deeper there's two ways to go.
Also, shape of cuts/angles etc
Cool idea for a forum mate.

Hey Nick,
I bought the "Essential Nut Making Tool Kit" from Stewmac and always file my own nuts from rectangular blanks. The process I follow is that set out by Dan Erlewine here:

Has always produced great results for me.

Should be up in a few days as I am starting on the neck.
