Stuff that has been lurking in dark corners..

Add prototype neck, a weird Tele-P90-Strat pup config, chopped down bridge and modded Jbass control cover with Creative Sundays, when DB gets to play in the Man Cave..

Just add lunchtime Bock, (two long necks with crispy bacon, poached egg and more bacon)

Oh well, at least I am having fun whilst trying ideas out :)

has potential DB, how about modifying the bridge route and putting the p90 there, would give it visual balance...

Maybe add a peizo and a couple more knobs?

Could do rotary switch, concentric volume / tome for mag pups and master volume and tone for piezo? Would be interesting to see the wiring and the nightmare DB would go through!

That control cover is a great left of centre idea.

Hey DB, where'd you get that control cover? Never seen one like that before. Did you cut it?

Hey Lozza, the first post of DB's the control cover is modded from a Jazz bass. Looks pretty damn cool I reckon.
Edit I was beaten by TC !

Yeah. If I'd read the post more closely I would've seen that. It looks really cool.
Hey DB, no issues with bare metal going rusty from the cutting. Did you coat it with something?

dingobass

Ohh pest is this going to be the matt belamy thinger?

wokkaboy
27-05-2015, 07:37 PM
don't think it will be Nicko, he'd need some other mods for the midi screen and the shape is a bit different to a tele. Sure Pest will build a Matt Bellamy axe one day though

Nah Nick this isn't the Matt Bellamy axe, similar woods used, but not the right shape and setup. This will still do nicely

It still is weird looking at this thread then looking at the actual chunks of timber...
