haha thanks Stan, I haven't had a life for a long time ! Suppose it helps when you spend 9 hours a working day in front of a PC and the Barge and Woks show helps get the posts up

thanks Pest, yes I think being a student at uni and school I had a life because I got so many holidays !
I actually learnt to play guitar while being a uni student when I should have been studying !

not sure what you are talking about DB, at Uni I spent every spare minute studying in the library, especially Friday afternoons

It's just like 4D Fridays (FDF's) we drink tea and eat scones. DB can confirm that haha

Hey kids don't take any notice of this if you want to score HDs but we quickly figured out 'minimal effort' = pass then each % point over the required pass mark equalled about 2hrs of time wasted on activities other than those stated by DB.

Very true there DB!
@Wokka yeah, tea and scones ;)
@Andrew funny thing about that, many people think that they aren't "smart enough" for Uni, yet all you need to do is just put in a tad bit of effort for many courses and you are actually quite fine in terms of passing!

And if you want a really easy time, go to Art School.....
Rock up at 10am, throw a bit of paint, clay or what ever your medium is around.
Off to the pub at 12, several pints washed down with a pie or sausage roll then back to the studio at 2pm....
Throw a bit more paint etc then 3:30 pm it's back to the pub...
Still trying to work out how I survived three years of this, let alone manage to pass.......

All of my tertiary education (of which I have a far bit) was done part-time while working full-time. Most of it with kids (one of whom has autism). I don't know where you get all this beer, girls and guitars you associate with uni comes from!

Yeah Fretty, my dad is in Uni and is doing it part-time w/ a full-time job too, add in his sporting life and family, it is a tall order!

Yeah uni was pretty full on at times for me too. I remember we had intensives + placement straight after and that was absolutely brutal. I learnt a language whilst at uni + working part time + relationships. Not a lot of spare time! Still found ways to procrastinate though

Even the best of us find ways to procrastinate when full on Nicko......

I dunno - my memories of Uni involve trips to Coral Bay and snorkelling with fish or running around the bush and every now and again kicking a rock for looks.
