Ok so we all know that when you want OSX for your recording studio PC everyone says the same thing: "Get a Mac". But you look at the price of a Mac and the price of an equivalent PC that you could build yourself, and you soon realise that Macs are overpriced.

The solution? Build a Hackintosh!

But I hear you ask: "What is a Hackintosh?"

A Hackintosh is a normally built PC that has components that OSX can recognise, and if you can get your hands on the updater, you are able to install any OSX distribution in a normal PC!

Here's some good ideas for what components are compatible, you can use the setups posted or create your own with the full list of components at the bottom: http://www.tonymacx86.com/building-customac-buyers-guide-april-2015.html

Also a really cool idea to have a OSX "Recording PC" and a Windows "Everything else PC" in a case called the Cooler Master HAF Stacker. It has a full tower case along with a very small mini-itx case on the top but can also be put on the bottom. I'll be using this for my full PC build for sure!

Any questions, post here and KB or I should be able to answer them!
