Just put a new set of these on one my Guitars not noticed a huge difference should of recorded before and after, maybe a little more clarity, but could be due to newer strings . Ill let you know how longevity goes heres the spiel.

I'm currently using Elixer Nano Web coated strings, and they seem pretty nice

Yeah I've been reading about these for a while. Not really keen to pay more for strings (go through enough already...) so keep us posted!

Hi Nick I don't know if it's true but someone once told me that one factory actually makes all the strings in USA. Mind you im sure China will be in there now too . Ref strings I love the Elixirs on my acoustics .if the longevities of the string are improved that'll be good . I'll let you know .

I'm in Bali at the moment and going to Wira's in Kuta tomorrow looking for strings I'll get a price comparison and report back.

In Sydney I pay $14 a set for Slinkys and $40 a set for EB bass strings, from memory I paid ~$7 a set for Slinkys at Wira's in 2013

The NYXL string were very thin on the ground at Wira's but the Slinkys were $9 a set and the Daddario bass strings were $25, but it was a 12km round trip walk to get them

You'd do well to buy more sets while there lol
