Folks, we've got this last remaining SG-2 up for grabs (I don;t think I'll be ordering any more). It's a nice bit of basswood and the bolt on neck is a good tight fit. However, it appears they've sent the wrong scratchplate. You can see from the photo that the bottom corner sits over one of the control holes (I assume that's the three way switch).

Anyhoo, it's normally $199, but it's yours for just $149 including delivery in Australia (A$59.95 internationally).

It's the correct scratch plate. The factory has just drilled the control holes too far in from the rear of the guitar.

Shouldn't be too hard to fix, for someone game. :)

For basswood, it's a nice bit of grain, so it would look pretty good without the plate (or a smaller custom plate).

Yeah, definitely. If it were me, I'd just reshape the stock one. Bit of dremel work and Voila! Problem solvered. :)

Would jump at this one Adam, but I need to raise some cash atm for a new piece of machinery...

Tempting, for a first kit build.
