Hi all. I'm Scoop and I'm new here. Please be gentle.

I'm about to start down a road that could lead to a wall of guitars. Thought I would start with one of the more simple models first in an ST-1 (or STA-1 or ST-1A ... have not made up my mind yet). Also interested in a Tele and a Ricky. I'll see how I go on the first one.

Been playing since I was about 18, so lots more than 20 years. You do the math. I live in the outer SE of Melbourne after moving from Brisbane about 12 years ago.

Anyway ... Cheers

Scoop

welcome Scoop, you have chosen a fun hobby. Once the kit arrives start a build diary and tell us a little about your plans regarding finish etc.
ST kits are great to start with, quite simple to build and only 3 solder joins !
Ask any questions you may have, there's a truckload of knowledge and experience on the forum.
Most of all enjoy the build and you will get the best results not rushing the build. You may live not too far from the resident Pest (Callum or username Kelooe)

Welcome along Scoop - great to have you on board! ST-1 is a great way to start - whether you go Ash or Basswood, should be a fun build.
