Hi all,

Looking at the bridge of my ES1GT kit - The slots on the saddles seem to get progressively wider from the 6th string to the 1st string. Makes it look as though it should be mounted with the adjustment screws facing forward which would be wrong as far as I understand.
Looking at this pic on the upgrades page it looks the same.....

Does it matter if the thin strings have wider slots than the thick ones? The low E slot still takes a .46 so I guess it's no big deal but wanted to make sure.

As a matter of interest, can anyone recommend a tuneomatic bridge upgrade with same specs as the PBG standard bridge?

Cheers

Traditionally the adjustment screws face the nut...from memory. Whichever way around it goes, it wouldn't make a significant difference.

The adjustment screws will be accessible for a screwdriver to adjust these and so will always be on the side where the strings are not over head. The picture you referenced is for a left hand kit. The set up required may be that you have to swop the saddles over.

Screws forwards... Sounds weird but thats how they go.
This should place the saddles in the correct progression.
