Warlock floyd rose set up and wiring

Hi, could someone direct me where to find a guide on how to set up the floyd rose bridge on a warlock kit including the spring set up?, also which wiring diagram is applicable for this kit, thanks - Scott

Setting up a floyd isnt that hard. Its just time consuming. The spring tension can be adjusted from the 2 screws holding the spring claw. The height can be set by the two studs, if you use an allan wrench theyll turn and itll change their heights. The intonation can be set by loosening the small 2mm allan bolt holding down the saddle, then moving it back and forth. Set the height so you have the action you want first. Then set the spring tension so that the floyd sits parallel to the body when strung up. Then set the intonation (painstakingly slowly).

Here's something I read about on the internet about setting up a Floyd Rose trem system, it makes things a bit easier:

Use a couple of pieces of suitably sized wood to set the Floyd Rose bridge so that it sits parallel with the guitar's body, next tighten the springs so that the pieces of wood are held in place and the bridge cannot move, once that's done, put the strings on and tune them up to pitch (make sure the locking nut hasn't got the locking pieces in place), check the intonation at the 12th fret on all the strings, once the intonation is correct (assuming you've got the action set right) loosen the springs till the pieces of wood fall out, when this happens it means that the spring tension is equal to the string tension and the bridge should be floating parallel to the body, check the tuning of the strings, if they are a bit sharp loosen the tension on the springs, if the strings are a bit flat, tighten the tension on the strings, using the pieces of wood saves having to continually re-tune the guitar when adjusting the springs.


Once that's all sorted, adjust the fine-tuners on the bridge to the middle of their adjustment range, re-tune the guitar up to pitch then put the locking pieces on the locking nut and then lock the nut, give the whammy bar a workout, then check the tuning using the fine tuners to tune the strings to pitch if they're out, keep giving the whammy bar a workout and re-tuning the guitar till the guitar stays in tune while whammying.
