so Rick no photos of the kill switch ?
Do you need a kill switch on a LP ? If you turn the volume down on either pup you can toggle the switch to get the same effect.
I'm confused you put TL-1TB on the title but have photos of your LP ?

Hi Wokka

I couldn't find any pics of the tele, sorry bout that.

Man if you knew the trouble I had posting this, maybe that why I got no hair.

Just took a pic of it, see below. It's the black button between the volume and tone. Notice the plate has been turned around, I rewired it so the volume is still at the top and the switch "points" to the selected pick-up.

I Really don't think it needs a kill switch, but I just wanted some thing to do.

Using the pu selector switch quickly (on a tele) is difficult at the best of times. Besides I never use it anyway.

ah ok that makes sense now Rick. Cool addition anyway.
So I've never wired a kill switch, how does it kill the output ?

HI.

It simply sends the signal to ground. I used a normal open momentary switch, so when the button, {closes the circuit} is pressed it sends the signal to earth.

I also made one for a friend but put it in a box, that is not as good as it is hard to work the foot accurately enough (well I couldn't anyway).

ah ok cheers Rick. Yes a hand switch would be much more accurate with the timing than a foot switch

Hi,

Here is the original video I made when I first went to do a demo, not very good sound quality, but no playing in here.

Shows the "scar" from shifting the bridge, (which was moved as far back as it was forward, but it's in tune so no harm done) that the control plate has been turned around and wiring changed and kill switch.

Ok I noticed that the sound and video position do not line up, makes it a bit confusing.

Rick.

Yeah, I mucked that right up Wok. This should be as the description of the one I just changed.
I made these videos up some weeks ago but couldn't post, the sound could be a lot better, but at least they are up.

Now I'll try to record some good stuff but will need to make a slide show to go with them.
