I'm not much for this youtube thing (it took me longer to upload than to lay the shit down) so just a short demo, rhythm gat and lead gat both played in the neck position, tone all the way up. Signal has a bit of reverb on both gats.
Excuse the footy shorts and hairy legs.
I must say even though the action needs to come down somewhat it's still an extremely playable guitar.

@ads,lawry
It does sound nice doesn't it, I'll let you in on a little secret...I haven't even set the intonation yet.
I've lost my good tuner and my cheap ebay one won't pick up harmonics.
I suspect it's not miles out as it doesn't sound too bad right up the neck, it should be butter once everything's dialed in.

Bravo Barge. Sounds great, looks great, if it plays great, then you have yourself a winner. Top notch bit of guitar.

Found my good tuner today so I finally got to set the intonation on the Blacktop, managed to wind the bridge down a bit more and the action's heaps better, I wouldn't say it's "butter" but after a fret level it won't be far off hopefully.
Just layed down a short demo with a bit of distortion, set to the bridge position with a hint of reverb on the signal.
