Dam you Van hayden you pushed me into it with your sweet axes

they pretty ok last about the lenght of 2 jobs then chuck em...I have a buddy in Perth "Gary" who now buys bulk cutters from John he has a company called polyvisual
here
http://www.polyvisual.com.au/
talk to him when he makes a new order you can get it in his bag and save on postage costs with him..very cool guy and has tons of cnc experience he has operated 5 axis machines and also can hand write g-code designed and built his own machines too..nice little factory he has there ...great spot to get acrylic...I used to raid his skip for really useful bits and pieces...still use some of his off cuts as spoil boards today..

Hey Van, are you saying that Gary is "the man" to talk to about getting router bits?
I am getting very tierd of paying out big bucks for bits that are only good for one body.....

Sadly i too can write iso g code as i was programming long before cad cam. Sounds like a helpful deal there haydn and i apreciate it. Soon as the CNC gets here in about a month no doubt I will look john up.

Great looking toy there Jarrod.

Been eyeing off CNCs for a while but pretty hard to justify the expense at this point.

Look forward to seeing some of the output from this machine.

Cheers

Darren

Geez, I can do that by hand....

BWAHAHAHAHA! Just yanking ya chain :)
(but it is true.... But not as fast as the machine)

When your back, give me yell so I can wander down and see this puppy in action and discuss stuff with ya, Jman.

jarrod
30-06-2014, 04:53 PM
No worries DB and that was .05 not .5 , as in 2 thou of an inch

dingobass
30-06-2014, 10:51 PM
Oh, a fleas knee rather than a bees knee....
Ok, thats not bad :)

wokkaboy

01-07-2014, 04:30 AM
might as well call it the AGM for the naughty room meeting !

jarrod
01-07-2014, 09:11 AM
I dont know if my man cave can sustain all the naughty room members Wokks. Prehaps the four of us and we can video conference the rest of them.

wokkaboy
01-07-2014, 09:27 AM
makes sense Jarrod, DB has had to relocate the naughty room twice because we've outgrown it !

dingobass
01-07-2014, 10:38 AM
Bwahahahahaha!

The way things are going it looks like I may have to find a larger premises for the naughty room....

jarrod
01-07-2014, 11:16 AM
Be easier to have a good boys room with the good boys stuff and set the rest of free to go to the pub.

dingobass
01-07-2014, 01:43 PM
Now there is an idea....
But which Pub?
Elizabethan, Narry, Como, Carine..... Dammit... too many good Pubs in Perth! :)

jarrod
02-07-2014, 01:04 AM
We can do pub crawls DB and visit all of them for one or two three maybe four.

dingobass
02-07-2014, 04:03 AM
The 'Liz has by far the best beer..... Their Bock is unbelievably good..

wokkaboy
02-07-2014, 05:10 AM

Awesome! When are we doing the NR AGM at Jarrods?

wokkaboy
02-07-2014, 09:54 AM
I'm usually free most weekends (after this one) when Dockers aren't playing a home game. Think Jarrod is away for work. Maybe later in July if it suits.
Don't forget your passport Gav, it works both ways mate, its normally harder for north of river residents to pass the Narrows Bridge !

dingobass
02-07-2014, 12:25 PM
are Northeners allowed past the Narrows?

jarrod
03-07-2014, 03:33 AM
I think you have to apply for a visa DB , any third world place cant just walk in to the southern suburbs otherwise we would be bombarded with the lower class lol.......

I've been eyeing off a 6090 for some time now but it has jumped in price to just under $5K
I might have to go to plan 'B' which is build my own with 427oz steppers.
I know AJ built a light weight one, maybe we could upgrade it to cut wood....
