Hi Guys
Here is the start of my new creation ....... This is going to be a hard one cutting all of the mirror, plus I have a nice mother of Pearl binding to go around it.

Ooh, I was wondering if you had chickened out of this project. I should have known better. Bravo, I look forward to seeing this one progress.

Perfect for the rockstars tired of carrying around a small mirror for their pre show ‘pep up’ haha

Is that glass or some sort of Perspex with a mirror backing? What are you planning on using to for grout?

Awesome Trevor! This is a fantastic project and I'm so glad to see you've made a start. I'm so excited to see how it comes out at the other end. I'm also very interested to know what you are using for the mirror shards - is it really glass mirror, or something a little safer...???

cheers,
Gav.

yes Trevor hope you don't get 7 years of bad luck from breaking a real mirror into pieces !

Way cool dude - it'll be a literal dazzler!
Presumably you are using flexible acrylic mirror?
I too will be following this thread with interest.

you have 2 threads going Trevor. That explains part of my question about using acrylic mirror, would be much easier to work with than glass mirror. How thick is it Trevor, does it add much width to the body ?
