Have you ever wondered how to store all your bits an pieces. I've stored most of mine in Tactix storage boxes. the kind with clp down lids. I got one in particular that is 31x20x5cm. It's perfect for storing humbuckers. :) I have a bigger one that I put all the bridges and posts and all sorts of hardware

Cheers PK

Can you get them pre-loaded like that?

ha ha ha, most of those are swapouts. except the toaster they belong on the es335 kit I am tinkering with. I am starting to loath the thing. the gold humbuckers to the left of the toasters were the originals in the 335, and the pair to the far right were swapped for a pair of Kent Armstrong P90's on my sons guitar.

That is a great idea ffor pickups. They appear to fit quite neatly.

Just a few weeks ago, my wife bought a mobile make-up trolly thing of ebay. When it arrived, it turned out she had ordered a different one to the one she was originally looking at. I offered to take it off her hands so I can store guitar parts and the smaller guitar tools in it, and she can order the one she wanted.

Aside from the colour, the separate compartments/segments and the drawer section are quite well suited and it was only $80ish on ebay.

Think the pink luthier kit needs to be pimped with some PBG stickers or something (maybe a guitar hanger with a Warlock) - otherwise it's just - wrong...

I'd be careful there Analyst - I believe DB is looking somewhere to store his Concho Girl supply.

That so needs a paint job, Analyst....

I use something similar PK, only mine are larger and have more compartments with removable dividers, so you can fit larger parts like pickups, bridges, tuners, etc, as well as all the smaller items.
I have a couple of them, one for each build, for when you have a few builds on the go at once.

Went cheap for mine - set of 4 takeaway boxes ~$2.50. Fits pretty much everything for a single build in a box except for pickguards and P Bass pickguards have a habit of not fitting in anything.

I hear ya. I have tried to make myself think it is reminiscent of the 80s metal era when fellas wore pink and Gene Simmons actually played a pink bass....but I didn't like what happened to "Metal" then, so that thinking just didn't work for me....stickers it will have to be then :)

Cheers
