View Full Version : Photo Size - Please Read Before Posting Photos

****IMPORTANT*****

When posting Photos on our Forum, please ensure that they are a reasonable size.

Photos taken on a smart phone or digital camera will tend to default to 3000-4000px on the longest edge. This is way too big and is draining on our website resources.

Please process your photographs, in any editing software, so that the maximum length is 1000px and make sure they are set to 72dpi.

If you need help with this, email adam@pitbullguitars and I will assist you.

Hey Adam, is hosting pics on imgur.com or the like better?

Pablo, absolutely. Using Imgur or a similar image hosting site would even be preferable.

We do have plenty of space on our Virtual Server, but if the files are really large, they just slow down the browsing experience.
