One thing I'd really like to see would be a non Fender style superstrat. Along the lines of a Jackson Dinky/Soloist, Charvel San Dimas or Kramer Pacer.

Yeah, total late 80's/early 90's metal scene. Reverse Headstock would be a massive plus.

I know this isn't what you are talking about Pablo, but I do have a few ST-1 kits coming with reversed headstocks. So, you could do something like the Jackson on top. I'm not sure we need any more ST style kits, but hey, if this thread gets support, then I'm listening.

I was more getting at the whole humbucker, Floyd, no pickguard aspect. But, yes, I see where you're coming from.

Just a suggestion here ... something to think about ...

There seems to be a lot one-or-two-off requests for guitars that are ostensibly just different variants of the same thing - the Stratocaster ... from S-S-S to H-H-H strats to Duo-Sonics to SRV's and a plethora of others ... and (as Adam's posted in a different thread) ordering and keeping stock of the ensuing myriad of models is a huge expense in terms of both finances and effort.

One way round this might be to create a base-model body that can encompass all the potential requirements of each variant ... a Strat-shape body of course - but completely routed (under the scratch-plate) in such a manner that it can accept any combination of p/up types (from 1xsingle coil to the "Nigel Tufnell"-style 6xhumbuckers!) and then just supply the hardware specific to the variant being ordered (i.e. scratch-plate, p/ups, pots, etc.).

Although the ensuing large cavity would likely then increase the "microphonic" tendency of the p/ups, this could be easily resolved by packing the cavity around the p/ups with foam (same type of foam as that which pick-ups come packed in their box with) - this "foam-packing" technique that a number of U.S. pro-builders use as mods for their guitars and from the couple of times that I've used it, works very well.

End-result is that it makes it easier to carry a large range of "different" models without the accompanying financial and logistic problems ... and even end up with a lighter-bodied axe (which isn't a bad thing!)

... though this idea does only work with a "scratch-plated" guitar - "bare-bodied" axes (like the Jackson, above) would of course require a different approach!

On second-thoughts it's probably not worth the effort, but might just be something to think about! :)

The ST kits are already routed for this type of pickup configuration (just not HHH)... I guess you could grab one of the loaded pickguard upgrades as well (HSH) or you could even pick up a cheap H-H pickguard off ebay or something and change the hardware over (removing the middle single coil would be a really simple mod)

There's obviously no locking nut or floyd rose but it's at least in the ballpark of a super strat.

It looks like you could even hit the WL-1 kit with a jigsaw and belt sander to get even closer to a superstrat.

I see some Hendrix inspired guitars in the not to distant future.....

I'd be interested in a super strat with reverse headstock, similar to the green Charvel picture.
So as you say Zeromick, a WL-1 kit with reverse headstock in a strat shape so it has routing for 2 humbuckers, floyd rose trem and no pickguards.
Doubt its possible to convert a WL-1 kit into a strat shape, the shapes are too different

Gudday all, I just registered on this forum (after seeing the ad on Stalkbook), specifically to see if the floyd/strat/reverse headstock (or lefty neck) was available as a kit.

So... searching the forum and finding this thread - I would like to +1 the request for a floyded strat!

Thanks
Willy.

Edit: Had a look around the PB website and saw the premade guitars. The PBG-6 MFC with a floyd would be very nice as a kit...

I would love that! Like a Charvel of the late 80s/early 90s would be absolutely perfect for the ultimate guitar I want to have. Specifically the 3DR

I reckon the same a charvel style with Floyd would be awesome (in Ash or mahogany)

+1 on the no-pickguard strats [emoji16]
String through body would be nice too.
