So I was looking at a few of the wudtones, and noticed that black magic woman isn't 'suitable' for maple. What exactly does this mean? As in it doesn't colour properly etc.
Also, the LP-1SS/s kit has a mahogany body with a maple top, does this mean BMW wouldn't be ok to use on this kit?

Sidenote: The silver highlights product, is that for edging and such?

Thanks in advance! :)

Silver highlights are essentially like subtle sparkles in the finish, a bit like metallic paint

Well ok, is the only difference between the LP-1 and the LP-1S the maple top and the hardware colours?

Or is there an alternative to the BMW that would be suitable for maple?

Ok, what would I use to achieve silver edging around the guitar? Is the Silver highlights appropriate for that?

There is no black in Wudtone other than BMW and that is not suitable for maple. You could use black ink or similar stain from Stewmac for example. The silver highlights will not give you a silver edging, you would need to use a silver paint and possibly do something like a silver and black sunburst.

Alright thanks for that! I'll check out Stewmac. Thank you!
