ha ha! you've got the bug well and truly now. good on ya jarrod. Unfortunately, I'm about to re-mortgage my house. We may have to set up some kind of rehab for guitar builders...

cheers,
Gav.

good stuff Jarrod, you certainly have the bug with 2 new kits. Love the fret markers on the PRS never noticed these before.
Look forward to seeing these builds progress
@ Gav --> I think the guitar builders rehab could be busier than the naughty corner !

It's called GAS......Guitar Acquisition Syndrome.

The help group is called Guitar Acquisition Syndrome Support Group.

Wokka and I are founding members. Membership fees are free as you will no doubt have no funds left since you spent it all on guitars.

haha agreed Gav, think between us two we have bought about 10% of the total PBG kits sold. We had GAS ages ago and there's no rehab that will remove it !

Well No messing around in my house!
Here are some shots of the PRS-1TS on it's way, There was a lot of glue in the grain on a lot of the guitar and the binding had been sanded a little thin in places but hey we will make do with what we have. Colours are Burning Sun and Mahogany, be aware this is my first time at Wudtone for a guitar and as you know the spray gun is more my skill type.

On this Axe I thought I would go with a Gleaming front and rustic Mahogany back so I have gone light on the sanding on the back of body and butt of the neck.Want to try and get that well played sort of look and due to all the glue that was there I thought I would maybe use it to an advantage.

Hi Jarrod,

The burning sun on the top looks awesome, and contrasts well with the Mahogany. I love how it highlights the flame maple! Is this where you are putting the Tru-Oil? How about a couple of pictures so we can see how it's going? Love the headstock shape too.

cheers,
Gav.

OK so I got the Father inlaws TL-1 finished . He asked for a red wood finish so I had mahogany and mixed it with burning sun and well this what happened . Totally standard and finished in tru oil , now on to the prs .

Thanks guy's I'm like a building machine at the moment . Since building the Aces high Tele I have developed this bad addiction to it. But hey I'm really having fun and ending up with some great guitars from it.
I'm really pleased with flame maple this girl had on it and Wokka I can recommend this build it really has a wonderful blues tone to it.
And lets face it your building is gonna make one look a million bucks
