Hi guys,

Is there any chance I could get a Ventures Mark II kit off the ground? Some kind of custom order perhaps? I have always wanted to build one of these (they are almost impossible to buy). Synonymous with Johnny Ramone who played one for all those years. Anyone else interested?

It wouldn't take too much convincing for me to do one of those. Very cool.
Ok, we can do these for you. Price would be $199 (special order). I need to order five, so if I have interest for 3 or more, I'll order some for delivery in January.
Who's interested?

Hi Adam,
I am definitely interested 100%.
However, I cannot order until after Christmas.
i have a PDF template of the exact body shape if that helps the suppliers.
Cheers,
Gavin.
Hey Gavin, I sent them your photo of the kit and they responded straight away with a price, so I assume they are familiar with the kit. If I get others interested, I'll order 5. If not, I can special order one for you when you're ready.

Hi guys. I'm pretty keen too but really can't commit at this stage. The Mosrites always remind me of an upside down Fender. And no shortage of colour options.

That's how Semie Mosley and Nokie Edwards got the shape, They turned a strat over and traced it.

Well, that would explain it. I didn't know that.

yeah that's kinda it, but i like how the ass is kinda squashed up, out and the bottom horn turned up slightly like the jaw of a bass. classic.
cheers,
Gavin.
