Hay to all great to see back up and running ,, does any one know of a good set of baritone strings for my lp baritone guitar ,, its a 27.75 in scale with a b5 , problem is that the ernie ball strings i got are not long enough the b5 sits right back on the lp body , the 4th and 3rd strings are not long enough to go around the b5 fully so i have to wrap them around the front bar ,, does any one now of extra long baritone strings ,,the older style ones had a longer scale , dont care on cost ,, and dont want bass strings to heavy gauge !!

HAS ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS,,, they need to be about 3in longer !!!

Billy Hyde/Allans sell these ones:

http://www.allansbillyhyde.com.au/prod/EL12302/Elixir_Nano_12-68_Electric_Baritone_Guitar_String_Set.aspx

Don't know if they are any good, but at least they are made for Baritone.

Ahh. Realise this might not be helpful...Obviously some of the issue is that your strings need to be extra long because of the bigsby...

i was hoping to get some feedback on the xL157 strings as they are made for the older longer scale baritones and are used on the hellcats vi , when there converted to a baritones (people have the same problem with length),, also on the danelectros cos they have a longer scale ,, has any one used these strings on there baritone ,, i have just got a set from ebay to try ,, was hoping for some info on length but cant find any info on ,, only notes on forums about

thanks analyst69 ,, yes the length is the key ,,

I wish I could help but I have no experience with baritone guitars (a situation I would love to rectify).
