Hey good people, it's so great to see this Forum again, for a minute there I thought we were going to lose everything.

For those interested, the fact we got attacked was because our site is built on Wordpress and it had some vulnerabilities (as all Wordpress sites have). It wasn't one person who didn't like us (who couldn't like us, right?).

We've added a whole bunch of new security features and the Host has removed and blocked a whole load of malicious IPs. In doing that they may have blocked the odd customer here and there. If you do hear of anyone having access issues, we will need their IP and I will get the Host to unblock them.

The site may go down again, but let's keep our fingers crossed. My Brother is working on rebuilding our site on another Host, so if all else fails, we have other options.

Thanks again for all your support, you guys and girls are the best!

I have had good results with
http://wordpress.org/plugins/better-wp-security/

Be careful, some options break things

Thanks kt101, I think that's one of the many WP security plugins we added. They're thinking its actually this Forum (Mingle) which had the security flaws. We'll see... fingers crossed.

<phew>! Geez Adam, for a day or two there I'd thought we lost PBG! ... really glad to see everything's back on-line and you're still "with" us!

Having become a "PB G-unkie" I just can't imagine life without the patriarch (Adam), the gurus (DB & Gavin) and the commune of my fellow PBG clansmen!

Thanks Scott, it will certainly take more than this to keep us down....nuclear strike maybe...

Judging from the user interest, in that event, I think the spark of luthier in us would draw together anyway - though it might have to go accoustic... ;).
