View Full Version : Necks
Did someone say Necks! We got 'em.
I was half a bottle of Jamesons in when I put these up, so please check for accuracy.

PBG-N3R.... Is it more a F- style than a G?
Also, will these fit the neck pockets for existing bodies as well as the new blanks?
Great news, by the way! :D

Neckity-neck-necks.... awesome!
It would probably be good to list the specific scale length for each neck in its description, rather than *just imply it with the "F" and "G" type designation. *And, also perhaps specify the width at the nut and the heel (for those mounting them to existing bodies) and state if the neck has binding (it looks like all the G-types have binding from the images). *I'd also suggest specifying the general dimensions of the separate fretboards.
Speaking of binding... is it possible to get a G-type neck like the PBG-N2E without binding? *That's the style neck I will need (to re-create this (http://pitbullguitars.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/ka982-thunder-Ia-3240806875_0ecae6bf50_z.jpg)), but unbound.
Quality-wise, how much of an upgrade are these necks over those supplied with the standard PBG kits?
Some quick notes: The PBG-FB1R Rosewood is listed as "Fingerboard" on the main page (http://pitbullguitars.com/?page_id=2739) whereas all the others are listed as "Fretboard" (although it shows as Fretboard on its actual page). *And, the PBG-N3R page (http://pitbullguitars.com/?product=pbg-n3r-rosewood-neck-for-g-type-kits-24-frets) has its SKU showing as "PBG-N2R", although I'm not sure if this is a cosmetic text error or if it will impact the order process. Also, shipping isn't mentioned for any of the bodies/blanks or necks, so it should probably state if it's included etc. like the kits.
Hey thanks Weirdy.
DB, if you're reading this (DB has the necks), if you want to give me a few more specs to put up, as per Weirdy's suggestion, I'll put them in the description.
EDIT: Yes, I can order any neck you'd like.
