Hi , new member here

I has a leftie ES kit inbound, after it goes to dingobass for some fret work and a bone nut.
Looking forward to it!

At home is a left handed Japanese Fender Tele (80's model), and a '74 Fender Twin Reverb amp, and a Boss GT100 effects unit.

Suffice to say I have gear that far exceeds my ability to play it!

Nice to meet you all,

Stan

Welcome along Stan - Gav's already said hello & pointed you in the right direction, and I agree - if you get stuck or are less than 100% certain in what to do, drop a line and you'll get the right advice!

Hi Stan, welcome to PBG.

You've picked a great place to hang out. If that is your MIJ Tele - very nice.

Cheers

welcome Stan, you have started with a tough kit but best of luck and you have the best backup forum family in the country !!
Don't forget the 5mm tubing to pull the pots and input jack through the F hole

Yes, it doesn't seem simple, but I'm pretty handy and there is no rush. I've read a lot of the built threads , including an ES one and have read Gav's tubing tutorial.
I also plan a tricky burst finish, so I'm in at the deep end - fortunately I've done a french polishing course, so I'm well used to the eternal sanding mantra.
It's great to know i have the support of such a great bunch!
