Hi Guys - My biggest build to date - I wanted to build an exact replica (* as close as i could get )of EVH famous Frankenstein guitar . I have tried to keep it as close as possible even down to the 1971 Quarter screwed to the body and the relic / worn look - any questions please post - enjoy

Not bad at all. This one is on my list too...one day.

There are a few copies out there, but this is definitely one of the better ones I have seen.

good effort Trevor, looks very time consuming all the paint tape etc. I didn't realise the frankenstien was modelled on a strat shape. See if you can remove alot of photos are duplicated in your posts and makes the page longer than it has to be

Have you been scouring roadsides for the old truck reflectors to go on the back?

Thanks guys for the replies - and Fretworn - the reflectors are hardest to find !! Still having trouble finding them ... And thank you for cleaning up my posts , I wasn't sure how to post more than 3 photos .

The reflectors are the only things I need Fretworn - people are asking around $60 -$75 for replicas on ebay !! might have to bite the bullet and buy just to keep it as close as possible.

Don't you have freeway nearby that you can spend an afternoon hiking up and down? Fender claim that the reflectors on the back of their ridiculously expensive copies are sourced from California freeways.
