Hi guys,
I'm just coming to the end of my very first build project now - a 335 semi hollow body. It's got me thinking about a matching 335 bass. Would make an excellent kit in my opinion. Is there anyone else out there in the forum who would be interested in seeing this kit offered by Pitbull? It will take 5 confirmed pre-orders for Adam to get a kit like this off the ground.

Anyone (else) interested?

Cheers,
Gavin.

i would!!!
Also, what about Epiphone EB-3 basses (the SG bass with the 3 way rotary switch, mini humbucker for bridge pos, and humbucker in neck pos)?

I would definitely have one, with the proviso it was a standard scale length, not a 30" instrument...

Ok, I've put in the request to our Chinese friends, so we'll wait and see what they come back with. If it's viable, I'll set up a product code for it and you can pre-order. If we get 5 firm orders we'll order them for September/October delivery.

Alright, the price on this 335 style bass will be $265.00. Basswood hollow body, full scale 34", rosewood fretboard. Basically an ES-1G but a bass...

I have set up a product code for it (ES-1B). When we get 5 pre-orders, I will place the order (we have to order 10). If you don't have all the funds now, make a purchase by "Direct Bank Transfer" and I will send you a PayPal invoice for 50% deposit ($132.50). Delivery and final payment will be due in September/October.

Done! Pre-order about to be placed!

Thanks again Adam for acquiescing to our insistent demands!

Ok, any other takers apart from Bass Guy? I have to order ten and would prefer not to order that many if we only have 1 order.

Depends on the price for me Adam, although I can't build one for a while

Getting up to working through it with the Minister for Finance - she'll be questioning the need for the JB-4M AND this one...

I am seriously considering ordering a second one, so I can have a matching fretted/fretless pair....

How much for a 335 guitar and bass together? ;)

adam

Hi Rohan, #265 for the Bass and $269 for the ES-1G... I guess you save $4 on the bass as it has 2 less strings ;-)

Ok folks, these are now on order for delivery in September/October.

If you haven't already, be sure to get your order in if you want to secure one from that consignment.

Gavin, likewise - dead keen on one, but need to scrape together enough to make it...

Hi Adam,

Quick question - will the kits have a maple cap like the ES-1G?
If so I assume flamed maple? The ES-1G description says quilted maple, but the picture is flamed.
Any teasers appreciated, I'm already too excited.

cheers,
Gavin.

I'm very interested to see how these come out. I don't think I'm crazy enough to try and build on though....
