My ES kit has two humbuckers with cream surrounds. The hardware is gold and I'm going with high-gloss white, so I'm thinking the cream surrounds will let it down. I want to replace them with white surrounds. Does anybody know a good Australian vendor for this kind of thing?

$10 delivered, pretty good price. I've bought from these guys before. Quick and reliable.

Thanks Pablo! Sounds like what I need. The pic doesn't look very white though. How was yours? Also I'm not sure about the curved bottom. What does that mean? Are they designed to conform to the curve of an ES body?

Sfk you may need to file or sand the bottom of the surrounds to fit the curves of the ES, I'd say they are more likely shaped for a Les Paul top but they could fit ok without mods, for $10 worth the punt. If they say white they should be, wouldn't trust the photo

These just arrived today. The curve on the bridge surround is perfect, the neck one is not so great, but workable. My god are they white though. They do not match the binding at all. We are going to have to age them somehow.

Still a fair way off finished yet Wokka. Still haven't got around to the clear coat and the binding needs a good tidy up before that can happen. My brother got a bit carried away and fitted the bridge mounts before the clear went on. Our little business has sort of exploded with jobs coming up to end of financial, so unfortunately not much time for guitars at the moment.

yer thats a bugger not much time for guitars ! Yer thought it was early to be putting bridge/tailpiece posts in, hope he connected the earth wire to the bridge post ? They can be hard to remove if banged in home !
