Hello friends. I've been playing since 1965 and working on my own guitars since. I have a lot of hints and tips. I am a gunsmith, replicate American Indian artifacts for a hobby, been a plastic modeler since 1959, I am a former mortician, so I am no stranger to working with my hands. I've always wanted a Gibson Firebird, and rather than fight with the expense of a new or used one, I'd rather build one. That's how I found Adam and this company. Due to finances I currently rehabilitate used and "cheap" guitars over to name brand playability.

Thank you Wokka. I have no secrets, I'll be glad to help out any time. I'm one of those people, I don;t think I ever met a guitar I didn't like.

Hi tony bones, welcome to the forums!!! What state are ya in mate???

I'm in Ohio, slightly north of Dayton, 40 miles due west of Richmond Indiana. After being away from the music scene in Dayton for a few years I am shocked at all the guitar stores that have gone under.

Glenno, I'm originally from Kentucky. Problem One. I'm 1/4 Shawnee-Cherokee American Indian heritage. Problem Two. I have lived in Ohio 50+ years, these people are hyper-conformists. Problem Three. Problem Four is I never Met a guitar I didn't like, lol.
