I'm from Brisbane and I'm looking forward to completing enough kits to justify the seven guitar rack I just bought :)
Ordered a flying V kit yesterday and some Carmine Gypsy and looking forward to having some fun over my seven week uni holiday.

Thanks, I'll be sure to keep up to date on the build diary when it arrives, luckily this isn't the first kit I've done so I shouldn't have any problems. I'm impressed with the quality of the kits and the community here is brilliant so I'm looking forward to getting started.

Hey tcj, look forward to reading the build diary.

I have just finished my first kit and I agree that the quality is surprisingly good, especially given the reasonably low cost to purchase.

Good Luck.

I know what you mean. Ive got a room full of high end guitars but Im more excited about how my first build will turn out and sound than playing any of those. Im hooked. Just wish I found it earlier. It would have saved me thousands. Enjoy.

Welcome tcj, another Brisbanite here. :D

I have just finished my first kit, a Strat, finished in Carmine Gypsy. If you get half the satisfaction as I did it will be money well spent.

There's heaps of helpful souls on these forums, so just take your time and enjoy the build, and if you have any problems someone here is bound to be able to help.

Looking Great Gavin, mine will be similar except one of the pots will switched with a series/split/phase switch. That wudtone does produce a stunning finish.

Hi tcjbrown, welcome to the forums!!!!! The LPJ is actually a neat Axe, it sounds a bit like an Epiphone and Gibson mix of pickups and electronics, I'm thinking of getting one one day!!!
Good luck with the Flying V, Carmine Gypsy is always a stunning colour on any kit!!!!!
