I just found this site and thought I should share. If you want to make your own pickguard here is where you will find the templates you need.

http://www.terrapinisland.com/pdfFiles.html

Print one out at full size (not fit to page)and stick it to a blank or whatever it is you are using with spray adhesive. I am using Coreldraw to plot out a DXF file and cut acrylic with my laser cutter. Sort of cheating, I know.

I hope this helps.

Perfect timing! I was planning on trying to make a pickguard this afternoon. Thanks Pablo!

Be aware, some of these will need a bit of push and pull to get perfect. My first attempt had holes over cavities and the outline was a bit out.

Thats why its a good idea to cut a mm or two to refine the shape!
Damn, now I wish I had a laser cutter...

*nods* Yep, was just going to use them as a starting point to create a custom fit paper template for this specific build before I start hacking away at the acrylic.

I doubt a school boy could raise that much Pablo,
is that what your laser cutter is worth ?

That's about what we paid for it. It's getting a bit long in the tooth now.
