Ok, convinced the wife that she also needs a guitar :o
So while I await my lefty SV-1 I can make all the mistakes on hers assemble her ST-1 :D
Her fave colour is purple and after playing around for 45 mins with many headstock designs, I've opted for a modern look with straight lines and a cut out (Gives me a reason to buy that Ryobi Scroll Saw I've been wanting)
So here's a photoshopped version of the design... Hope it ends up like this.
I think it looks awesome

Hi MikeL
MAybe save up a bit more for an Excalibre or similar....the Ryobi is a bit of a mission to keep the blade straight and you will have to buy adapters to put in really thin blades....I have one and I'm saving up for the Excalibre (which a friend has and its friggin awesome!

Just saw a purply colour on Wudtone website - amaranthine(?).
http://www.wudtone.com/shop/?wpsc-product=finishing-kit-amaranthine
Wouldn't be metallic, but it would be good... hmmm maybe my daughters need a guitar each... or they may be bass players... I know - they'll need one of each!

There seems to be no known cure for P.B.G.B.S either (Pit Bull Guitars Building Syndrome)...
