Got this kit for Christmas. Thought I'd start a build diary to get me moving on yet another project.
There's a wierd cut on the underside of the fret board which makes it look like it's on an angle. However, it isn't it's just cut higher on the underside end of the bass side of the fret board. Must have been nicked with the router

A brown tortoise shell coloured pickguard will be used rather than the period kit one.
Additionally, Guitar family locking tuning pegs and bone nut.
The whole guitar will be dingotone natural.

That is a lovely bit of timber right there.
Not sure about the short bridge plate if you are planning to us a standard style bridge pickup because the standard bridge has a lot to do with the tonal palate.
I know I'm a fan but given the number of T kits being built it seems the message is getting out ( again )
