    5th from cork sniffer

5th build, this one for my 12 string loving wife. Spalted maple 12 string tele.
Been about 7 months since the kit arrived but life and other projects have been in the way. A little work on the end of the neck to allow full socket fit. Back when it arrived I quickly saw the routing and the neck were having an argument, bridge has to move south.

This week I also saw the bridge has to not only go south but a good old amount west. Plug all pre-drilled holes, tape off the good area and get the Dremel to work.

Happy with the progress, thinking, well hoping each project will be better than the previous.

I just ordered some Jazzmaster pickups from GFS for my Jazzmaster build. Not too expensive and they come with covers, black or white. Can't tell you what they sound like yet as they haven't arrived and I haven't built the guitar either.

    Thanks.
Hopefully the incoming Jazzmaster neck pickup will remove any requirement for a scratch plate and the full natural beauty will feature in full. My wife saw the kit months ago and said something like "I don't care how much, BUY IT!!!"

I put a Kent Armstrong Dual Rail with a push/pull pot to split the coils for the bridge. Something out of left field for you to think about.
