    Boss FS-7 Pedal

    Hey guys,
I thought this would be the most appropriate place for this inquiry.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with the Boss FS-7 dual pedal unit?

I've just purchased one, and once it arrived, I realised that it didn't come with a power supply, however looking through the specs, if being used as a momentary press pedal, it doesn't need power. In this respect, it becomes identical to the FS-5U pedal.

What am I going to be using for? Well, I've also purchased a new Boss Acoustic Singer Pro amp, and I'm going to use this for activating the harmonies feature in the amp.

From what I can ascertain, when I press and hold the button the harmonies will be activated, does this match up to anyone's experience?
    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, bloke - can't help you; I use a TC Helicon Perform V!

I have backing singers for my harmonies, they're cheaper but much harder to programme...

Sorry never used either. The amp would be what really matter though. I assume there is a foot switch jack on the amp that allows you to access this function.

Also all Boss pedals use industry standard power supplies (because they created the standard), so it will be real easy to get one if you need it.

Thanks for that guys, I've been in contact with someone with the exact same set up. Looks to be workable so I'll let everyone know how things go.

Received both my pedal and just yesterday, the new amp arrived. Only had a short chance to play with it last night, so I'll have a better idea of how it goes tonight. Compared to my old man's '97 Jade Australia 130w amp in the corner, there's been quite a lot of changes over the last 20yrs!
