Agreed, they can be a bit naff. I hope this one isn't! When I built the Frankenstrat I noticed how lovely it felt to play, much nicer than the shiny new ones I had. It's the same with this, it does feel a whole lot nicer to play than the Teleblaster which is all shiny and new, especially the worn in neck.

Number 4 finished. Was last years Christmas Present. Taken me a while to get this finished, pretty happy.

So what is it?

Its my ES-12 with,

CTS Pots
Orange Drop Caps
Bone Nut
Seth Lover Humbuckers
Wudtone stain. Front done over 20% diluted artists ink
TopHat knobs, hard to see in pics but centres are gold not silver.

As a present the upgrade that's missing is the tuners, I'll have to do that later as these are a nightmare currently
