You'll need the little Marshall battery amp to play through, as they won't have 500 mains-powered guitar amps available! And you will need to take an electric (not acoustic) guitar.
Probably won't be the best-sounding world-record attempt.
The world record for the largest guitar ensemble (not just electric) was 6343 people in Wroclaw, Poland in 2013.

That would be a pretty awesome event to go to.
Well I'm kinda looking forward to it! the Marshall will be useful too as I get in trouble for warming up the 5W Blackstar at home!
My 8YO is coming too - been playing 2 weeks - so that might muddy the waters in terms of making it sound good (he has practiced every night though for the past 2 weeks - soon be better than me)
Oh, and it will be the first outing for The Cliché - perfect timing!
