    That's what I used to get it like that, Waz. I'm not game to take any more wood off and I've already applied two coats of linseed oil.

    I'm back.
    Only took me a year to nearly finish it (note wonky string ferrules and unfinished neck), but here it is anyway:



    I had to wait for summer to paint it, too cold and damp during winter down here.


    It's not my worst player and seems to possess a certain "Mojo", funnily enough.


    When I hammered this in, I should have taken more care, obviously. It stopped the build until this week. On the positive side, the relic job has a flying start.


    I had an issue with the neck pick up when I was wiring it up. I thought I had wired it wrong, but the pick up was faulty, so I used one out of my old Monterey Tele.

    Thanks, mate Not exactly how I thought it would turn out, but it plays well enough, and holds tune, even overnight ( we had -3 last night).
