    Unhappy Problem with Acrylic

    Hi Guys,
I've been using White Knight crystal clear acrylic on a couple of guitars but I'm finding that even after one year of drying when I pick up a guitar from the guitar stand It stick to the stand and leaves marks from the stand in the finish, does anyone know why this would be happening.

I have heard that some types of foam react with some forms of acrylic - could be a reaction of some form? Then again it could be urban legend as I couldn't find any reputable links in a short search...

Some types of foam do react with the finishes on guitars. It's more common with nitro, but has happened with some other finishes. However I don't know what the best replacement foam is.
