It sounds great and looks fantastic.

He now takes it to his guitar lessons with great pride, knowing it is the only one of its kind....and that it is his.

He wanted a gloss finish...which sounded alarm bells in me. But after numerous tests with different finishes, polishes and loads of elbow grease, it has come up great. For playability we sanded the neck back to a satin finish. The custom EFG logo is from my sons initials.

It may be some time before we build another kit...but just like having kids, it ends up being the wonderful things you remember...so will no doubt have another go at it. Perhaps one for me this time.

A great project to do with your child. I especially like the headstock, EFG.

Well, dang, and here I thought I was going to win.

Nice grain on that ST Frankie. I particularly like how the grain on the neck complements the body. Good call, I'd say, to leave it natural.

And EFG .... wow. That's an incredible finish and a gorgeous piece all around. I'm not really an SG guy, but if I came across that in a guitar store, it would probably come home with me.

Cheers Spycho, I reckon there is probably a couple more to come later this week, but I think it’s going to be a tussle between Purple and Blue this month!

Don't write off the nude finish so soon Frankie.
3 very good entries so far.

Thanks Waz, if nothing else they are three very contrasting builds, which is great to see. The flame level on Haxis and the EFG is somewhat special though, really well turned out builds.

    Hi everybody !
It's my turn to post my guitar, which I finally finished after several months! haha
I have not only created a guitar, but also a new passion and insurance to repair my guitars myself and I would like to thank Pitbull Guitars for that!

Here is my JMA-1L, called the "Illumaster"!

It was painted in matte nitrocellulose vintage white, and the neck had its little tru-oil treatment!
She is extremely easy to play, and I find her personally extremely beautiful!
I don't really think I'll win this month but I will at least have feedbacks on my work!

#2nd build will certainly be a custom kit close to the GR-1SFG
