    Remove glue and prep veneer--whats the best way?

    Looking for tips on removing glue spots and finishing VERY thin veneer.

    yep, careful use of Goof Off . If you are doing a dark stain you can also disguise glue spots with careful colour matching with modelling paints and a tiny brush. I've used both Tru Oil and auto acrylic over the top of water based modelling paints

    Depending on the marks, and the surface, you might be able to scrape them off with a cabinet scraper or similar. I used the back of a lino knife on mine.
