Are we now supposed to club together and get DB a gold clock or something?

    Hey DB,

    Thanks for all the advice.

I remember in my earliest visits to the forum, I was in awe of what goes on here (I still am FWIW) but one of the very first pieces of advice I read was "there is always a workaround".

Thank you for this - it has stayed with me and has actually helped my in a few other fields since then.

    We are in you debt.

    Farewell.
    Good luck.
    Heartfelt gratitude.

Not crying... there's just something in my eye.

good move DB, you have repaired enough broken Gibson headstocks haha
The new business seems to be going well so best of luck in the future.
Will have to catch up for a beer soon mate !
I've been branching out a bit myself, building different things like two Battleship boards but bigger to fit shot glasses on the squares and made a Jenga game and box to hold it.
Also building Ads a new clock for PBG Headquarters, the low thieves few months back stole the prior 4D clock - dogs !
Will post some pics when its finished and delivered and on the wall !
I can also stand back from giving advice as the knowledge on the forum has grown so much. I didn't get over 13000 posts for nothing haha internet nazis at my work has slowed down the time I spend on the forum hence my absence.
Have almost finished the telemonster, it makes noise. Need to cut a bone nut and get 2 bass saddles for the bridge. Ended up using shark fishing cable for the strings ! Will post pics when done. A 82mm wide nut isn't small !

Best wishes and good luck with your new venture.

Was wondering where all the old timers had got too, including Woks. Just gotta figure out where Ponch has been hiding as we haven't heard from him for quite some time too.

    Cheers, Waz

Best wishes DB, I for one have benefitted greatly from you expertise and generosity.
    Glad you are staying on.
Didn’t know you had a fret hammer, you seem to despise frets hahaha
Thanks and all the very best

Best of luck with the new venture DB and thanks for all the advice and sharing of your knowledge over the years. A lot of my preconcieved notions around guitars and building were dramatically changed by the information provided in this group.
