Dingotone red colours

I would like to draw on the knowledge of those who have used Dingotone.

Is there a Dingotone colour that would be close to a cherry red colour stain?

Karajini looks closest and Uluru seems too dark.

Maybe PM Andy40 as the sample for Karajini on PBG site is his Spalted LP and he might have some other shots that show the colour in different lighting conditions.

If chasing the really vivid Cherry as found in a Cherry Sunburst neither of these look as bright however if looking to do ES335 type Cherry all over the Karajini might be close enough.

Hi Colin, it may depend on the colour of timber underneath. Lighter stuff like Basswood you would expect to come up brighter than say Mahogany which is quite reddish brown in it's natural state.

Only thinking out loud but if you bought the clear neck DT finish and did a few experiments in diluting Karajini down it may in fact come out lighter? I know DB has mixed custom brews and colours for people so maybe sending him a PM or email could be worthwhile.
