    tonerider vintage strat set

    hey guys,
need some help, i have a friend who has a 2010 60s road worn strat and was looking at upgrading his pickups to the fat 50s fender set. i mentioned the tonerider vintage set as they a little cheaper. i have the city limits set and not sure what the vintage set is like. any recommendations and opinions?
my friend likes the old vintage style so which is why he wants to change his pickups. should he go the fender brand or the toneriders? i absolutely love my toneriders and wouldn't change them and recommend to him the same but need help.
    thanks again

Hi Brokin, Tonerider website has lots of sound demo videos under each type of pickup and helped me immensely when choosing the Alnico IV's in my EX-1 and also the Hot Classics in my Tele. Here is the link for Strat style pickups....

hey guys. just thought id let you know. we went with the blues alnico II set to put in his 60s road worn strat. i wasnt sure how it would go as this guitar is not a cheap guitar and already has good pickups in it. but i have to say the toneriders lived up to their name and more. my friend was going to pay more and stick to the fender brand but he is now very happy to say he loves the blues alnico pickups it was exactly what he wanted. thanks again Waz for the info. now its time to save a few $ so i can put the alnico IV in my LP.
    cant go wrong with toneriders

    Great stuff Brokin.

Love my Alnico IV's. Did you check the vids on Tonerider for them? Some wicked guitar playing on a super strat looking guitar which highlighted how they are not too muddy and have lots of mid grunt and great for overdriven sounds.
