    Home from work today with my youngest with a cold. Just dressed the frets on the SG neck and gave the rosewood a wipe of linseed oil while he's having a sleep - gotta make the best use of any spare moment! Came up nice...

    no ha! that's a Korg Pandora PX2 multi effect unit, which is going inside my next project - a scratch plate strat. I was given it years ago with a bung input socket. Lots of 1990s ridiculous effects and overdrive fun, ideal for a travel guitar...

    I have a Korg AX10G and it is very silly. Does get some nice sounds at times, but its so complicated, trying to replicate something you did earlier requires taking extensive notes on the settings you used. It also produces some god awful gibberish nonsense... which is good for annoying anyone who happens to be listening.

    I tend to just stab at it and then play any snippets of songs I know that suit the effects that come up.
